The National Employment Council for Tourism Zimbabwe is a bipartite labour board established
in 2013 and registered with the Registrar of Labour. Our main mandate is to promote democracy,
peace and harmony between the employer and the employee in the Tourism Industry in accordance
with the provisions of the Labour Act (Chapter 28:01).Parties to NEC consist of representatives
of Employer Organisations and Trade Unions. While all employers and employees in the Tourism
sector are lawfully mandated to be members of NEC, there are numerous benefits to membership,
outside the requirements of the law. Below are a few benefits to employers and employees.
